    The single best thing about the Stella di Mare is the 'house reef', which can be accessed from the jetty where the boats moor. Despite being so close to the hotel, the coral is in surprisingly good condition, and teeming with fish of all sizes - I saw a big stingray and watched two wrasse cleaning a large scorpion fish. The glass bottom boat trip to snorkel at two offshore islands is also terrific, and good value at 25 euros per head (including hire of a snorkel if you didn't bring your own). .
